Looking forward to getting my first half marathon in for 2012 this upcoming weekend. I've checked the weather and it looks like we're going to have perfect temps and sunshine, lets hope it doesn't change too much over the next few days.
I picked up some new Brooks running shoes, which I instantly fell in love with and have been great in my training. I look forward to putting some road miles on them! Brooks have always been my fall back favorite shoes, even after getting the vibrant Nike that I had hoped to wear running Chicago, but unfortunately kept giving me problems.
This race is in Williamsburg Virginia and it will be our first half marathon with a 1pm start time! I'm hoping this proves positive as I'm used to running and training in the morning? Both Chelsea and I are running, and we will have my mom, Zach and Ben cheering us on! Its going to be a great start to my 12 in 2012 half marathon goal!
