Tonight was the last home game for Kent State and the last time the band would perform, which we planned to attend months ago with Deb, Gordon and the kids. After a drive that took 1 1/2 hours (which is usually 45 minutes) the horrible conditions, roads closed detouring us around, cars off the road everywhere we looked, we finally made it to the game.
Once we arrived safely to the game we were able to relax, at least until we had to head back home. I couldn't believe how heavy the snow was coming down!
Throughout the entire game the snow never let up and we figured we were going to have a long drive home so we headed back shortly after half time. Luckily the farther we got away from Kent the less snow there was and the better the road conditions.
All in all it was a fun night out!
WOW! Those girls must have been freezing. Can't believe it's already snowing. My advice to you is to stay home in your warm clothes and scrapbook. :)

BRRRRRRRRRRRRR! It does look like you're having a lot of fun in the photos though. My blood still hasn't thickened up after living in Florida for 16 years. It was 37 here yesterday and we were all FREEZING.

SNOW!!!!! Good for you lasting until half-time - I don't think I would have even lasted that long. Hope you bundled up good!

Amazing photos - especially when we are enjoying lovely Spring weather here in Australia and are approaching Summer!
