Just a minute of my time...

New York

I don't think I'll ever get bored on visiting New York City. There is always something to see, always something going on, and at Christmas time... always busy!

We arrived early, and got a quick tour of the city from our bus driver... seeing the new building going up at the 911 site, and how much progress they've made, since it was just a year ago I was here!

We got to see so many things this trip and I couldn't believe how much we had done by 10am

Crop weekend

Counting down to the once a year crop with Work in Progress kits and planning my projects to get the most accomplished in my time away.

In the last few weeks I have pre planned some layouts, took vacation pictures and used divided protectors to plan out which pictures are going into layouts and which pictures are added to protectors, and most recently, I decided to take my year and put it into wallet sized photos, using several pictures to document each month, and put together a year in review album...

I had totally forgotten about this picture taken in early January of a lunch date with my mom and sister at Red Robin... too bad Deb's eyes are closed!

and waking the next morning for our flight to Florida and finding this

Just a few of the pictures I plan to reminice about, document and enjoy during my weekend away with friends!

Running, parties and vacations seemed to dominate 2011, as well as milestones like Chelsea turning 21, my mother in law 70, Zach's braces coming off and oh yeah, running my first marathon!

Still gathering my pictures to put together my December daily, hope to finish that up soon, along with some projects with my Work in Progress January kit!

Usually January is my favorite time of the year, after Christmas that is where life seems to calm down and the obligations are less.  But right now I'm still searching for the calm?

Completed a project that I've been wanting to do since over the summer!

I had a great December and got to do so many fun things that I can't go without saying how grateful I am to have all these opportunities!

hanging out with my kids is always special to me



and giving back is so important to me.

I'm hoping to get together the rest of my  December pictures and get my album together to share within the month of January.

Day 2

December 2^nd

Started my day with a 5 mile run, then after getting ready it was off to the mall to meet Chels and do some shopping for Zachary.  From there we had lunch at Panera then we both headed to work.  Once I picked up Zach from school we did MORE shopping.  I guess it’s a sign of the time of year…

December 1^st

A cool snowy day, just enough snow to coat the grass.  I spent my day working around the house, lunch with Deb at House of Hunan and shopping at Target.   Today was my day to paint, pay it forward and get a peppermint mocha!  Yum!
